URLABARI-4 MORANG – Urlabari Multiple Campus (UMC), in a prestigious academic collaboration with the Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED), successfully concluded a two-day intensive physical training and workshop on Advanced Research Methodology Writing. The event was held on Chaitra 13th and 14th, 2082BS, in the Seminar Hall of Urlabari Multiple Campus. The training was marked as a significant milestone in the institution’s commitment to enhancing faculty and student research capabilities and competence.
The workshop serves as the inaugural physical component of a rigorous 48-hours, 3-credit course. Designed to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, the curriculum requires participants to complete both this physical session and a subsequent online session scheduled over the next three months. Upon the successful completion of both phases, participants will be awarded a formal certificate of course completion by Kathmandu University.
The program was facilitated by Associate Professor Dr. Bharat Prasad Neupane from KUSOED, Kathmandu. As a distinguished expert in the field, Dr. Neupane led sessions focusing on high-level academic writing, data synthesis, and advanced methodological frameworks.
The opening ceremony of the training session was held on the first day (13th Chaitra) initiating a tone of academic rigor in the campus. The event was chaired by Mrs. Visma Kumari Regmi, Coordinator of the Research and Publication Sub-Committee at UMC. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Min Prasad Dahal, Acting Chairperson of the Campus Management Committee (CMC), as the Chief Guest of the programme.
The formal closing ceremony on the 14th of Chaitra provided a platform for reflection on the intensive training. During the feedback session, Mr. Bedhraj Bhattarai, former Campus Chief, emphasized the long-term impact of such collaborations on the institution’s academic standing. Mr. Hasta Bahadur Bhattarai, Chairperson of the NPCA UMC committee, lauded the depth of the curriculum and the engagement of the participants.
Mr. Khemraj Karki, Campus Chief of UMC, delivered a comprehensive note of thanks, acknowledging the technical support from Kathmandu University and the dedication of the organizing committee for effective and successful management of the programme. The entire program was moderated by Mr. Indra Prasad Sapkota, Assistant Lecturer at UMC.
In her closing remarks, Chairperson Mrs. Visma Kumari Regmi officially declared the physical session closed, reminding participants of the upcoming online requirements necessary to secure their 3-credit certification. This initiative underscores the evolution of Urlabari Multiple Campus into a hub for advanced research and professional development in the region.
