 One-day programme on Stress Management was successfully organized by the Employment Promotion, Students Counselling and Grievance Redress Sub-Committee of Urlabari Multiple Campus, Urlabari–4, Morang. The programme aimed to equip students and staff with practical strategies to cope with stress and promote mental well-being in academic and professional life.

The session was facilitated by renowned psychiatrist Dr. Nagendra Katuwal, who delivered an insightful and interactive presentation on the causes, symptoms, and management of stress. Dr. Katuwal emphasized the growing prevalence of stress among students due to academic pressure, career uncertainty, and social expectations. He highlighted the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle, practicing mindfulness, engaging in regular physical activity, and seeking professional support when necessary. The facilitator also conducted practical exercises and shared coping techniques that participants could apply in their daily lives.

Speaking on the occasion, Campus Chief Mr. Khemraj Karki underscored the importance of mental health awareness within educational institutions. He appreciated the initiative taken by the sub-committee and expressed the campus administration’s commitment to organizing similar programmes in the future for the holistic development of students.

The programme was chaired by Mr. Nagendra Bahadur Ghimire, Coordinator of the Sub-Committee. In his concluding remarks, Mr. Ghimire extended heartfelt gratitude to the facilitator, campus administration, faculty members, staff, and students for their active participation and support. He reiterated the sub-committee’s dedication to promoting employment readiness, counselling services, and grievance redress mechanisms within the campus.
