URLABARI — In an initiative to enhance academic excellence and provide broader educational perspectives, Urlabari Multiple Campus successfully hosted a special guest lecture for its Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) first-year students on 2083-06-19. The academic event drew an impressive turnout, with 150 students packing the hall to gain insights from an external subject matter expert.

The keynote speaker for the session was Bidur Nepal, an esteemed Associate Professor of Statistics from Patan Campus. Associate Professor Nepal delivered an engaging and comprehensive lecture, focusing on the foundational concepts of statistics and its critical application in modern business, economics, and decision-making. His interactive approach helped demystify complex statistical theories, providing the newly enrolled BBS students with practical examples of how data analysis drives the corporate sector.

The event was formally addressed by Campus Chief Khemraj Karki, who welcomed the guest speaker and commended the students for their enthusiastic participation. In his remarks, Chief Karki emphasized the campus’s ongoing commitment to delivering quality education and announced plans to continue organizing similar interactive sessions with renowned academicians to elevate the institution’s academic environment.

Adding to the discourse, Head of Department (HOD) Ratna Bahadur Karki spoke on the significance of the subject matter. He highlighted that a strong grasp of statistics is indispensable for any aspiring business professional. He also extended his gratitude to Associate Professor Nepal for taking the time to share his extensive knowledge with the students of Urlabari Multiple Campus.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, allowing the 150 attendees to directly engage with Associate Professor Nepal. The event was highly well-received by the student body, marking a successful academic milestone for the current BBS first-year batch.
