Objectives of M.Ed. Program
The Master of Education (M.Ed.) program at UMC, aims to produce high-level academic and professional manpower in the field of education. The objectives are both overarching and specific, focusing on developing competent educators, planners, and researchers to address national and international educational needs. Overarching Objective:
- Produce High-Level Academic Manpower: To develop professionals such as teachers, teacher educators, educational planners, administrators, system analysts, and experts capable of contributing to the educational sector with knowledge of national and international education systems, policies, pedagogy, and research.
Specific Objectives:
- Produce Qualified and Competent Teacher Educators: To train individuals who can effectively serve as teachers and teacher educators, particularly for upper high schools, with advanced knowledge and skills in their specialization areas.
- Develop Educational Planners and Administrators: To prepare efficient professionals capable of serving as educational planners, administrators, managers, supervisors, and other experts who can address contemporary educational challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Promote Innovative Practices: To foster innovative teaching and learning practices that enhance educational quality and relevance in a changing global context.
